The dorm frig

The space for a standard refrigerator here is about the size of a big dorm frig. so we decided to go with . . . a big dorm frig.

Luckily, the one we wanted was in stock at the store.

We also decided to go with installing a washer/dryer combo in lieu of a dishwasher in the kitchen because the ladder to the washer/dryer hookups in the cellar was, . . . well . . . a ladder.

Unluckily, the washer/dryer combo we wanted was NOT in stock at the store.

We said "No hurry on delivery of the in-stock-big-dorm-frig. Just wait 'til the combo arrives".

Over a month later, still no combo, hence no frig . . .

Turned out the weather has been somewhere between 'frig and freezer so we really haven't needed the frig (big dorm-sized or not). This is the entryway to our house and it's definitely 'frig temp!

Handy when pretty much all you're chillin' is beer and butter.

The actual refrigerator was finally delivered despite no washer/dryer combo to date. Yeah, that's a shelf it's sitting on and that attractive space below will house the elusive combo.

We decided to go ahead and move what items would fit into it and had to drink the rest :)
