The Longest Day

Today, June 21 is the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year (for all of us in the northern hemisphere), the first day of Summer, and my Daddy's birthday.

Many places have celebrations on this day and welcome the sunrise.

Our sunrise was at 4:24 and sunset is 8:55, but it won't be really dark until almost 11:00.

The weather forecast is mostly sunny with a high of 60. By most standards, the perfect day.

I know it's a Monday, but I think I'll make the most of it and I hope you will too.
